STATEMENT OF FAITH
In the Christian world it is common
for each organization to have a Statement of Faith.
As a matter of fact, if you were to
type “Statement of Faith” into a major online search engine you would find about 1,000,000 (one million)
pages with “Statements of Faith.” According to the World Christian Encyclopedia there are some 33,800
Christian denominations on Earth today, each reflecting their respective beliefs according to their
particular denominations.
However, this tradition is not found in the Jewish/Messianic
world; one does not find Statements of Faith posted in synagogues, and the reason is simple. According
to the Messianic mind the Scriptures says what it says, and you either do it, or you don’t. The
Jewish/Messianic world sees what you do with your life as the criterion by how you are judged, because what a person believes
is easy to change. In one second you can be enlightened and change your mind and believe the very
opposite of what you’ve always believed, but to change your lifestyle is not so easy, and this is where Faith
is most needed.
As translator and publishers of the Messianics™ it is not our
responsibility to sway a person into one Statement of Faith or another. We happen to be
Messianic/Netzari Jews or Messianic converts but we are acutely aware that it is the work of
the Ruach haKodesh (Set Apart Spirit) of Adonai that has brought you to where you are
today.
We each live from faith
to faith (Romans 1:17). As we grow in the knowledge
and grace of Mashiyach Yahushua our prayer is that the Messianics™ movement will ignite a
deep love for Yahushua and the Way, the original Faith which was once delivered to the Set Apart (Holy)
believers.
We pray that everyone who reads and studies the
Messianics™ will be doers, not only
hearers of the Word. We use the Aramaic English New Testament Scriptures as this is the best translation of the aramaic
scrolls we have found, we hope it will bring unity, not solely according to cerebral knowledge
but through deep spiritual experiences with Yahushua (Mashiyach). These are the very words (in
Aramaic) that Yahushua spoke and his Apostles wrote.
The translator and publisher do not make any claims to be Prophets
or Apostles or to be above anyone else when it comes to hearing from heaven. Rather, we believe that
the 1st & 2nd covenants (old and new testaments) are the guides, to achieve eternal
life, as Peter stated to Yahushua, “you have the words of
life” (Yochanan/John 6:68).
