Faith Builders

When faith is low, reach for faith builders, miracles from Scripture that wills tir up the gift that is within you. Following are three biblical accounts from the New Testament that will help build your faith.

Man at the Gate Beautiful—Pray in the name of Yahushua.
As Peter and John passed into the Temple for prayer, they spoke words of healing to a
lame man begging at the gate. He was healed instantly.
Later, when Peter and John were answering questions of accusation by Temple priests for the healing, they stressed that the healing came in the name of
Yahushua the messiah. When praying for healing, we too must
call on the name of Yahushua

Acts 3:6-8 (Young's Literal Translation)

 6 and Peter said, `Silver and gold I have none, but what I have, that I give to thee; in the name of Yahushua messiah of Nazareth, rise up and be walking.'

 7 And having seized him by the right hand, he raised [him] up, and presently his feet and ankles were strengthened,

 8 and springing up, he stood, and was walking, and did enter with them into the temple, walking and springing, and praising Adonai;

Acts 4:10 (Young's Literal Translation)

 10 be it known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Yahushua Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye did crucify, whom Adonai did raise out of the dead, in him hath this one stood by before you whole.

New Converts—For the glory of Adonai.
The sick were healed and those tormented by evil spirits were delivered as the very shadow of Peter touched them.
Many were added to the church as a result, for the glory of Adonai. May our prayers for healing of others be motivated to bring glory to Adonai
(Acts 5:12-16 (Young's Literal Translation)

 12 And through the hands of the apostles came many signs and wonders among the people, and they were with one accord all in the porch of Solomon;

 13 and of the rest no one was daring to join himself to them, but the people were magnifying them,

 14 (and the more were believers added to the Master, multitudes both of men and women,)

 15 so as into the broad places to bring forth the ailing, and to lay [them] upon couches and mats, that at the coming of Peter, even [his] shadow might overshadow some one of them;

 16 and there were coming together also the people of the cities round about to Jerusalem, bearing ailing persons, and those harassed by unclean spirits -- who were all healed.

 Paul’s Blind Eyes Opened—Adonai uses believers.
Ananias was a believer in Yahushua. The Bible does not say he was an apostle or a church leader, but he was the instrument used to bring sight back to Paul’s eyes that had been blinded by an act of Adonai.
Today, Yahushua can and will use any believer to accomplish His plans
Acts 9:17-18 (Young's Literal Translation)

 17  And Ananias went away, and did enter into the house, and having put upon him [his] hands, said, `Saul, brother, the Master hath sent me -- Yahushua who did appear to thee in the way in which thou wast coming -- that thou mayest see again, and mayest be filled with the Holy Spirit.'

 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it were scales, he saw again also presently, and having risen, was baptized,

The second touch

  •  Should we pray more than once for physical healing?

Absolutely. There is a precedent in Scripture for doing so. Take a look at the works of Yahushua as an example to follow. They key is to be led of the Spirit for each circumstance
or opportunity.

Blind Man at Bethsaida—Mark 8:23-25,.

23 and having taken the hand of the blind man, he led him forth without the village, and having spit on his eyes, having put [his] hands on him, he was questioning him if he doth behold anything

 24 and he, having looked up, said, `I behold men, as I see trees, walking.'

 25 Afterwards again he put [his] hands on his eyes, and made him look up, and he was restored, and discerned all things clearly,

In this instance, Yahushua used physical touch to bring healing. Yahushua took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he
laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything?”
The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.”
Then Yahushua placed his hands over the man’s eyes again. As the man stared intently, his sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.

Lazarus—John 11:43-44, .
John 11:43-44 (Young's Literal Translation)

 43 And these things saying, with a loud voice he cried out, `Lazarus, come forth;'

 44 and he who died came forth, being bound feet and hands with grave-clothes, and his visage with a napkin was bound about; Jesus saith to them, `Loose him, and suffer to go.

Yahushua used words to make the raising of Lazarus complete. Then Yahushua shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”
And Lazarus came out, bound in grave clothes, his face wrapped in a head cloth. Yahushua told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”

The Leper—
  Luke 17:14-19 (Young's Literal Translation)

 14 and having seen [them], he said to them, `Having gone on, shew yourselves to the priests;' and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,

 15 and one of them having seen that he was healed did turn back, with a loud voice glorifying Adonai,

 16 and he fell upon [his] face at his feet, giving thanks to him, and he was a Samaritan.

 17 And Yahushua answering said, `Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine -- where?

 18 There were not found who did turn back to give glory to Adonai, except this alien;'

 19 and he said to him, `Having risen, be going on, thy faith hath saved thee.'

In this passage, the leper went from being cleansed (first touch) to being
made whole (second touch). And when he [Yahushua] saw them, he said unto them,
Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back...fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks...And he [Yahushua] said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
